The kids Sleds were fairly old and beat up, so we decided to look around for some new ones. We went to Target, Kmart and Home Depot. ALL SOLD OUT! Apparently we weren’t the only ones with that idea. So I went online to Amazon and ordered 3 of these Wham-O Snow Boogie Boards:

These hard plastic boogie boards are just what they need in this snow storm, and they will hold up for a long time. They are also big enough for double riders! The only complaint so far, is that walking back up the hill is a little difficult because they are a little more heavy than their old ones, but they also haven’t really built up a return track up the hill yet, so I think that will become easier.
Here is a link to Amazon where I bought them:

On Feb 6th, I posted a video looking out over our deck at our bending tree in the back yard. We are now in the process of getting hit with a second blizzard just 4 days later. Ugh! I thought I would post a 2nd video showing the progress of the snow on the tree and our deck. Enjoy!
We heard that our good friends, The Brandts, were making cookies, so we all too a long trek through the un-plowed streets to visit them. Here are two videos videos showing parts of our trek home and the not sow plowed roads in our neighborhood:
They say, neither Rain, nor Sleet, nor Snow will stop the postman, well lets just see shall we:

In this video, I finally venture out into the tundra to capture some video. Watch Addison sled down the hill and my feeble attempt to follow!
